Kitchen for the victims of the Beirut explosion

After the Beirut explosion (4/8/2020) we launched a popular kitchen that served 2500 persons daily during a period of three months in the most affected areas of Beirut such as Mar Mkhael, Wardieh, Sassine Square, Quarantina and Burj Hammoud. The hot meals were distributed daily by dozens of volunteers. A zero-waste policy was implemented through reusable containers that people could bring back every day to get a refill.
